Chairs are common furniture. The chair may slide and make noise during use. What should we do? Today we are going to talk about chairs.
       Noise when the chair slides may be due to quality problems or some parts are loose, which can be dealt with according to the actual reasons:
       1. If the component is too loose in the groove, the component must be enlarged to make the joint stable. If the end of the tenon is split, it must be fixed. Apply a thin layer of glue to the tenon and wrap the silk thread tightly around it. If necessary, apply more glue and wrap an extra layer of silk thread around the tenon. Let the wire-wrapped tenon dry for 1 day, then glue the stabilized end firmly into the tenon groove. Care should be taken when inserting the tenon to avoid disturbing the thread. Clamp the joint and let it dry.
       2. If the tenon is cracked or loose, please apply a layer of glue on it and then wrap it with silk thread. Let the glue dry; glue the tenon back into the groove. Clean the old adhesive from the parts and their tongues and grooves. Old glue doesn't bond well. Be careful not to remove the wood from the ends of the parts or the parts will not fit snugly. After cleaning off the old glue, try placing each end of the piece into its corresponding tenon groove. If the ends fit snugly, apply glue to the grooves and insert the loose parts back into place. Clamp the reglued joint and allow it to dry.
       3. IfChairDamage caused by loose rungs or rails, or if no supports are used, loose chair legs, can sometimes be repaired by filling the chair joints with glue. However, if you use this method to repair a chair, it is very likely that the stool will easily become loose again, because the stability of the glue is still limited. If you want to completely repair the loose chair or loose rungs, you must first carefully remove the parts from the frame and then reinstall them. If both ends of the component are loose, the entire component should be disassembled and the stool reassembled to make it stable.
